Longitude and latitude imaginary lines.

Today I was learning about longitude and latitude.

Longitude and latitude is an imaginary grid around earth.We use these 2 main things to find our way to a place.

Longitude and latitude is what people call imaginary lines to describe longitude and latitude.Each place has an address in a form of numbers which is called coordinates.But they have something in common which is called degrees.Latitude and longitude are measured in degrees.

Longitude is very important because without that you would be lost.Longitude is from the bottom to the top which is also known as vertical.Longitude is from the bottom to the top.At the bottom of the earth is 0 degrees prime meridian.Longitude is all about time.Longitude is based on earth's rotation through 360 degrees which is 24 hours.That means 180 degrees is equal to 12 hours.That is like 15 degrees which happens each hour.

These 2 very important things are very useful to find a place because again every place has a address.
